One of my FAVE books of all time. One of my most ANTICIPATED movies of the year. IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so like, I just got back from Percy Jackson & The Olympians:The Lightning Thief and it was so AWESOME and so FUNNY! Here's what I have to say.Percy Jackson & The Olympians:The Lightning Thief. To some people this may look like the next loser Harry Potter Wannabe (Ex. Cirque De Freak and The Seeker) but the old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" comes into play here. Because I'm telling you that Percy Jackson & The Olympians:The Lightning Thief is as good if not better than Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone (the first Harry Potter). First of all as you've seen from the trailer this movie has got WICKED special effects GALORE!!! Second of All, the acting was GREAT!! I give props to all of the actors for their OUTSTANDING performances,but I'd like to give a few special props. Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) had the role of the demigod (Half-Human,Half-God) son of Poseidon which he gave a performance that could make his movie career go way up! Next Alexandra Daddario played the strong,fearless Annabeth Chase. She had a breathtaking performance that could make her movie career go way up,too! Last but definitely not least Brandon T. Jackson performed as the Half-Human Half-Goat Satyr who gave the movie it's ENTIRE comedy parts! I mean there were like tons of parts that made me go crazy LOL! Now Third and last of all, Percy Jackson had stuff for action fans,special effects fans,romance fans, and COMEDY FANS! That's right! The comedy was so good that without it the movie would be incomplete!
Now to sum up this review here's a statement I made. " Percy Jackson & The Olympians:The Lightning Thief was a thrilling start to a new series, that could be as good as the Harry Potter series and I give it a solid A!"
